Five students of International Burch University, who were invited by Isparta Governor to visit the area of Antalya and Isparta, have returned home and shared their impressions.
Aldin Talić, Hamdija Velagić, Batbileg Buba, Serdar Özgöze and Junior Jiba represented our University on their trip to areas of Isparta and Antlaya in Turkey, which was organized upon the invitation of the Isparta Governor. Students returned yesterday, and together with Sait Dinç, Head of Department for Culture, Sport and Health Care, paid a visit to Prof.Dr. Hüseyin Padem, Rector, in order to convey their impressions and to thank for the opportunity given.
Students were delighted and impressed with the reception in Turkey, as well as with the representatives of the institutions that were visited, such as Isparta Governor Deputy, Süleyman Demirel University (SDU) Rector, SDU Faculty of Agriculture Dean, as well as several local company directors. All students agreed that the experience and knowledge gained from the visit give the stimulation for enhancement actions of our institution and making good relations with already successful institutions that we can learn much.
Aldin Talić expressing only words of praise regarding the visit to Turkey, shared with us impressions from the visit to the Rector’s Office of Süleyman Demirel University, where he was fascinated by the rapid progress of the University, which was established 1992 but today can serve as an example of development, great organization and positive vision.
Hamdija Velagić, citizen of USA, who came to study at IBU, told about his first visit to Turkey, and that he liked the atmosphere and system he had a chance to get to know better during the trip. "Süleyman Demirel University Campus reminded me of the American system of study, and I hope to have the opportunity to visit it again or continue with my further studies maybe exactly at this university."
